Margaret Tante Burk was the vice-president of Burk Enterprises. In 1969, Margaret Tante Burk became public relations director for the Ambassador Hotel, and the Cocoanut Grove. She worked in the Ambassador until 1990. She scheduled and coordinated hundreds of events like fashion shows, and award shows. After the Ambassador Hotel closed in 1989, Burk continued writing a book about The Ambassador Hotel as a filming location. In 2003, Margaret Tante Burk wrote a book entitled, “Are The Stars Out Tonight?” the story of the famous Ambassador and Cocoanut Grove.
